We can assist to get your police clearance certificate, whether you are in South Africa or in another country.
Also known in other countries as a criminal record check / criminal background check / record of good standing. It is an official certificate issued by the Criminal Record Centre (CRC) of the South African Police Services (SAPS), which declares that you don’t have any criminal record against you.
Who needs a police clearance?
The usual way is to go and apply at your local police station. They will take your fingerprints and send it through their own channels to the CRC office in Pretoria. In 2019 they said that it would be sent back to your police station after a waiting period of two months. The waiting period, however, has been extended so that applicants nowadays wait more than six months . We have on record a number of our clients who first tried this usual way but later turned to us for help after realising that they are going to wait forever.
We offer a better way! Since we are a registered courier service, the SAPS allow us to submit your application directly to the CRC office here in Pretoria. We follow up and make sure that your application is being taken care of!
When it has been finalised, we will go and collect from the CRC and courier it to you.
If you need the police clearance certificate for work in another country, we will do all the necessary steps to have it Apostilled or Authenticated, or attested by the appropriate embassy, and then courier it to you whether you are in South Africa or in any other country.
We will handle your application in the fastest LEGAL way. We are stressing this, because there are some companies who promise to finalise applications within 5 days, while the official waiting time is 3 to 4 weeks. Getting a police clearance in only a few days, means that some corrupt official has been paid a bribe… and we don’t want to get involved in bribery.
A serious warning: please don’t risk your whole future by getting involved with bribery to expedite your police clearance! It is absurd to pay someone for a superfast service, while the whole purpose of a police clearance, is to declare that you are not the kind of person who will get involved with criminal activity…! As recent as March 2020, a senior officer at the CRC office told us that they are aware of some companies who promise to get results in only a few days, and they are soon going to start investigating them. If you were involved (by paying someone for faster service), you would be guilty as well.
The only legal way to be considered for an expedited service, is if you could provide an offer from your future overseas employer, in which they request a police clearance certificate. Then still it is no guarantee that it would be expedited, but at least the CRC will take it into consideration.
